Beginners Blues
8 weekly lessons of 60 minutes costing £28 per hour.
Covers: basic chords, scales, fretboard knowledge, learning to read tab, basic blues songs. For the absolute beginner to get you play the blues using minor pentatonics and blues scales.
Intermediate Blues
10 weekly lessons of 60 minutes £28 per hour.
For the experienced player who wants to develop their skills:
1. Thorough exploration of minor pentatonics and blues scales all over the fretboard using backing tracks and published songs.
2 Introducing new scales such as modes – major blues scales and variants including arpeggios to develop a true soloing style.
3 Playing over 9th – 11th – 13th chords forms and variants including arpeggios.
4 Techniques such as octaves – 3rds – 6ths explored and using in improvisation.
5 Differing styles of blues related to artists such as B B King – Buddy Guy – John Lee Hooker.

Song Workshops
6 weekly sessions of 60 minutes £28 per hour.
Intended for the experienced rock and blues player who knows the chords and scales but requires help with working through the music of particular artists Help with sight reading music notation and tab.

Beginners guitar course - 6 x 60 minute lessons
A self contained course designed to get you playing whatever your tastes in music. Topics covered include:
- Tuning the guitar either manually or using a tuner
- Naming the open strings
- Basic chords, including major, minor, 7ths and beyond

- Scales and melodic playing
- Learning to read tab and chord symbols and boxes

Singer Guitarists Course 12 x 60 minute lessons
Course is designed for those who wish to perform in public or for educational purposes. Course elements include the basic elements of guitar playing plus:
- Basic voice production and singing techniques
- Harmony – chord voicing and selection
- Song and key selection
- Accompaniment techniques and styles
- Repertoire development
- Guitar techniques, such as scales, arpeggios and octaves
- Sight reading and musicianship
- Fretboard knowledge

Electric Guitar
A graded course of lesson designed to follow the syllabus of the LCM or other examining body covering a range of electric guitar techniques from beginners to Grade 8, including rock, jazz, blues, and country styles of playing. The course covers all aspects including musicianship, sight reading and tab.

Home Visits
Home visits can be arranged in central and north London for pupils with easy access to the London Underground network. Visits are during the day, and a preliminary non-chargeable meeting will be setup to discuss an individuals needs. Thereafter payment will be four weeks in advance.
All courses include background and teaching materials and encourage the student to learn to read music and develop their musicianship 60 minute lessons.
